** Important NOTE **

The Esko Combat Safety Eyewear are rated to withstand an impact of 650 feet per second (443mph or 712kph), which equals 198 metres per second, according to the U.S. Military Ballistic standards rating.
According to the AS/NZS safety standard, a product rated to the High Impact level can withstand an impact of 120 metres per second, so the Esko COMBAT Safety Eyewear exceed the requirements of the High Impact rating.
However, the AS/NZS standards certification authority will not give a pair of safety glasses of any kind a rating higher than Medium Impact. Therefore the Esko Combat series actually exceed the requirements for Extra High Impact (190m/s), but due to the way the safety standard is written this rating can not be printed on the product itself .
